What are the specs?
Each poop was carefully handcrafted with love using a pixel art software program called Aseprite and is a 64x64 pixel GIF enlarged to 320x320 resolution, stored as an ERC721 token on the Ethereum blockchain.
Are Pixel Poop a good investment?
Probably not. It's just GIFs of pixel poop that literally anyone can copy and download. If you want a good investment then stop playing around with imaginary internet money and build your portfolio on a foundation with something safe like bonds!
All jokes aside, there will only ever be 25 NFTs minted in this collection. The scarcity of smaller handcrafted collections like this could potentially really crank up their value in a sea of never-ending programmatically generated NFTs. On the flip side, projects with a shorter lifespan don't have as many drops to help build up a larger community.
Personally, I think in the long run projects that have context around the story and artist have the best chance of holding and gaining value. This is a small collection, but its my first. I already have several more in the works and plan on staking my name in the NFT space as a collector and artist and building my brands for years to come.
What was your inspiration?
This is the only question in the FAQ that I've actually already been asked. One day I was on the toilet enjoying my morning poop. As I was scrolling through Twitter trying to come up with NFT ideas a lightbulb lit up in my head at the exact moment the first piece of poop plopped! Thus, Pixel Poop was born.
Really this is just a joke. I'm just having fun drawing pixel poop and poking fun at people who think NFTs and crypto are worthless crap. It's a funny meme project I'm making to dip my toes in the NFT space. It's a project to help me learn and experiment with the process of creating a collection and building a community before I dive in with the larger projects I have planned. You've heard of shitcoins, right? These are shit NFTs. NFTurds, if you will.

NFTs really are the final culmination of all of the passions and interests I've picked up throughout my life all rolled into one.
I've been through a lot of rough phases. Hard drug addiction, prison, homelessness. Now in my early 30s for the first time ever I'm happy, healthy, and financially stable. My childhood dreams have evolved, but I've never been more motivated to still chase them!
